Kristine is Joy

I wish I appreciated life without the materialistic things. Being broke is no fun. I always had a job and purchased whatever I could get my hands on. I took advantage of living paycheck to paycheck because I became accustomed to money always coming to me. Now I don’t have that. I have no money, no job, nothing. I’m struggling to adjust and I have no choice but to be obligated to.
I’m aware of getting a job and stuff but I really want to excel in school. Knowing how things were in the past, I couldn’t balance both. This is my chance to put school first and hold it down as my number 1 priority.
I’m thankful, however, that my parents are supporting me and providing me the things I NEED. Maybe this will be my lesson to learn how to live without materialism and appreciate the value of a dollar and know how one can survive with a limited amount. This will be one difficult challenge for me; Much discipline required.
